Dark Beauty:Horns in Fashion
Horns in photoshoots can capture a
fantasy-like moment or go darker,evoking a more morbid image.
I love drawing horns and I include
them a lot in my pieces.They come in a variety of shapes and forms and fashion makes great use of them in
editorials and runway shows.Used for theatrical effect,horns are re-interpreted
in numerous ways by haute couture designers like McQueen.They can be presented as headdresses,masks or even hair.McQueen took a step forward and attached
a pair of impala horns on a pony skin jacket symbolizing
the image of a gazelle(left image).
